The State Department said nuclear talks between the US and Iran have been constructive, the president said. Donald Trump It was clear that he wanted to see diplomacy.
US Department of State Asked during a reporting briefing about Trump’s comments on Thursday, Deputy spokesman Tommy Piggott said the US and Iran were close to Iran’s nuclear deal.
Speaking in Doha, Qatar, Trump said he believes he is “close” to the US and Iran making a deal without violence. In Trump’s fashion, he said there are two steps — “a very amazing step and a violent step” — added that it consists of violence that people have never seen before.
The president also said on Thursday in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that the US and Iran have “a kind of” agreed to the terms of nuclear deal.

“Iran agrees to the terms. They’re not going to make nuclear dust – I’m not going to call it nuclear dust,” Trump told reporters. “We have no intention of creating nuclear dust in Iran.”
Piggott did not comment on private diplomatic conversations or negotiations, but he repeatedly reiterated Trump’s stance on the issue.
“The president is making clear that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons“Pigott told reporters. And the president was clear. He wants diplomacy. He wants to see a diplomatic solution here.”
Piggott made his remarks when Trump toured middle easthalts in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Rather than blowing away the “nation,” Trump is calling for a “nuclear peace agreement” with Iran.

While speaking at Riyadh’s Gulf Cooperation Council on Wednesday, Trump repeated his desire to do business with Iran, calling for it to be built on the progress of the Abraham Agreement by adding more countries to the historical agreement.
Trump made his comments while speaking to leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council as part of his four-day visit to the region.

“I want to sign a contract with Iran. I want to do something if possible. But for that to happen, we have to stop the terrifying sponsors, stop the bloody proxy war, and stop the pursuit of nuclear weapons permanently and validate. They cannot have nuclear weapons,” Trump said.
Trump had wanted to make a deal with Iran and see Tehran prosperity, but recently accused the Iranian regime of not only hurting his country, but also hurting the entire region.
“Iranian leaders are focusing on stealing people’s wealth and funding fear and bloodshed.
The president pointed out that he had “lost countless lives” in Iran’s efforts to support Syria’s former Bashar al-Assad regime, which collapsed in December, and denounced Hezbollah’s support for the downfall of Beirut, which he said was “formerly called Paris in the Middle East.”

It is unclear how Trump’s negative comments about Tehran will affect ongoing nuclear negotiations with Iran.
Still, the Associated Press reported on Thursday that the political, military and nuclear advisor to Iran’s top leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told NBC News on Wednesday that it was ready to remove the highly rich stockpile of uranium that Tehran could weaponize.
In return, adviser Ali Shamhani said he hopes Iran will lift all economic sanctions immediately.
