A trolling bathroom sign discovered at DFW Airport warns users of Medium Li’s “electronic genital verification” program. According to the notification, anyone using toilets at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport would photograph their genitals and clearly refer to the ban on anti-trans bathrooms, “Potentially inappropriate access to toilets.” It states that it can be selected.

Additionally, the airport patrons will instruct them to contact the “EGV Program Office.” Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick’s Office Line.
“Your genitals may be photographed.”
February 9th, Reddit users Stickybubs I posted a photo on a sub in Texas. It showed signs engraved with the DFW logo and stickers of the Texas Lt. Colonel and Public Safety Agency. Labeled as a “security notification” and warns about a “pilot program” for photographing people’s crotch in the bathroom.
“Your genitals may be photographed electronically at EU instructions during use of this facility as part of the Electronic Genital Verification (EGV) pilot program,” the sign reads.

“In the future, EGV will be able to safely secure Texas while protecting your privacy by screening potentially inappropriate toilet access using machine vision and artificial intelligence (AI) instead of traditional genital testing. It helps to keep it in.”
As it stands, it argues that genital photography is only used to train AI models and will not be “used by law enforcement or shared with other entities” unless forced in court. The notification then instructs anyone who wants to opt out of calling the specified phone number to request that the “data” be deleted for users in the bathroom.
According to the OP, the trolls have listed these signs on the DFW bathroom stall.
“If his office is flooded with phones, it’s a shame.”
Many commenters approved the trolling effort after quickly identifying the indication as undoubtedly fake and an attempt to assert the anti-trans bathroom laws. The law enforces people to use public toilets tailored to the gender assigned to them at birth. In many cases, opponents argue to protect privacy and regularly point out that genital testing is inconsistent with this claim.

“Praise, trolls for anyone who came up with this idea,” Reddit user wrote It’s a terminal.
Since then, people have been particularly pleased with the fact that the signs have been targeting Dampatrick, who is fighting against public access for transgender people. At least 2016. The general affinity for privacy and anti-government sentiment common among Texans could make this gag particularly effective.

“Hopefully he says, ‘I get all sorts of calls about getting genital verification from the bathroom. What I got in my pants is not the damn business at the airport.” He said. passive_post.
“If his office is flooded with calls from people asking him to delete his d*ck photo files, be sorry,” he wrote. Texas DDironically. “Really shame.”

Electronic Genital Verification Trolls Make a Dieful Texans
Many redditors perceived this sign as an obvious troll, but tricked enough people to confirm the facts to report the notifications as in fact fake.
“This is not a DFW production or approved sign and there is no information about its origin,” says Cynthia Vega, DFW Media Relations Manager. I told Snopes. “However, we are investigating to make sure nothing is listed. If found, we will remove any incorrect signs.”
But Judging from the number of social media users who were furious with DFW and Patrick because the EGV program allowed them to record their private lives, the fact checker hasn’t reached people.

“This so-called ‘electronic genital verification’ (EGV) is an outrageous violation of privacy and human dignity disguised as security measures,” X-user wrote. @HumanbyDesign3. “The idea of enforcing traveler 2 is that it was being filmed and scanned by AI under the guise of “protecting the Texans.”
Instagram users @mdear2010 He posted a video report on the signs, bringing to many furious comments that recognized it as a prank, as if they could be real.

“Republicans are obsessed with genitals, but they don’t have the ability to lower prices and create unity.” @cherlyn12211980 I wrote it. “In any case, the taxpayers paid for this.”
