The scandalous drama continues!
Tom Sandoval is suing Ariana Madix over videos of Rachel “Raquel” Revis that she found on his phone, Us Weekly reports. ReportsThe news comes after Reavis filed a lawsuit against Tom and Ariana in February, alleging that explicit videos of her were filmed “without her knowledge or consent” and then “publicly distributed, disseminated and discussed by the woman scorned,” among other things. Sandoval and Maddix asked for the lawsuit to be dismissed, but the judge set a trial date for November 2025.
The fallout after Ariana discovered the video was aired on “Vanderpump Rules,” leading to Tom and Ariana ending their nine-year relationship and ultimately Revis leaving the show.
According to the documents obtained by Us Weekly, Ariana “accessed” Tom’s phone on March 1, 2023 and accessed explicit videos of Reavis without his “permission or approval.”
He further accuses Maddix of making copies of the video and distributing them to “Levi and third parties.”
Maddix’s lawyer, Jordan Sussman, told the magazine in a statement: “It is abhorrent that Tom Sandoval continues to torment Ms. Maddix by engaging in an extramarital affair that destroyed her home and stability, engaging in months of emotional conflict, and now attempting to further evade personal responsibility for the impact his actions have had on her and her mental health. Tom Sandoval is fully aware of the privileges he and Ms. Maddix shared regarding personal communications devices.”
Sussman continued, “It would be illegal for anyone to know that their spouse or lover is cheating, if that is what he or his mistress wants. It is telling that Sandoval has begged Maddix for forgiveness, yet now blames her for his misdeeds. Months after The New York Times called Sandoval ‘the most hated man in America,’ he clearly has learned nothing and believes he needs to continue to torment Maddix in order to salvage his own image. Maddix is confident that a jury will see through this latest ploy and reject his baseless claims.”
In a statement to the magazine, Sandoval’s attorney, Matthew Geragos (brother of Reavis’ attorney, Mark Geragos), argued that Sandoval’s lawsuit is directly related to Reavis’ allegations.
“While Tom Sandoval acknowledges responsibility for his infidelity, he strongly denies the allegations in the lawsuit filed by Rachel Revis against him and Maddix,” Matthew Geragos said in a statement. “In order to fairly and equitably determine the liability of all involved, we filed a counterclaim on behalf of Mr. Sandoval. This customary legal action was essential to fairly apportion liability, if any, based on each party’s actual involvement and degree of negligence. We treat all involved with the utmost respect and aim to resolve this legal dispute.”
In May, Ariana and Tom discussed Levi during the “Vanderpump Rules” reunion.
Madix told Sandoval, “You brought this motherfucker into our lives in such a messed up way that this motherfucker has to talk about me all the time. You did it!”
Sandoval responded, “I’m really sorry. I understand. I wish you the best and I’ll make sure you get a place. We’ll figure it all out. We have lawyers, so don’t worry. I get it.”
In January, Extra spoke with Ariana and Tom separately about their situation in the aftermath of the scandal.
Ariana spoke about relying on her friends, saying, “My friends mean everything to me. Their strength is such an inspiration to me. I hope I can be there for them as much as they’ve been there for me. All of my friends from different stages and times in my life are now my best friends. We’ve all become a family, and it’s really, really amazing.”
Tom spoke about the changes in his life. “I’ve worked on myself a lot. I’ve tried really hard to repair friendships and really focus on what’s important in life. For me, it’s been kind of a perspective shift,” he said. “I feel like I’ve been lost in the currents and the storms, but I think by staying grounded and approaching it from a place of calm and really facing it, I’ve really grown the most. Going through the hardest things has really helped me grow the most.”
