Tom Brady doesn’t wear a suit to an NFL game anymore, but he did it in a different way Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium. Brady changed his shoulder pads and helmet, got a shirt, tie and headset, and the Bucs beat the Eagles 33-16.
Before the game, he toured the field and spoke with Tampa Bay’s front office, who signed as a free agent in 2020, key players who won a Super Bowl in his first season with the team, and the quarterback. He was replaced by Baker Mayfield.
Suffice it to say, he was welcomed with open arms (literally) and the NFL legend was happy to be back where he spent the final years of his iconic career.

Baker Mayfield had a pretty good performance in Week 4, completing 30 of 47 passes for 347 yards and adding two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. It was a much-needed bounce-back performance for Mayfield and the Bucs before their schedule gets even tougher and they open up a short week against the Falcons on Thursday night.
Mayfield recently gained attention for some comments he made about his predecessor on the show. Casa de Club Podcast with Corey Kluber. When he signed with Tampa Bay after Brady retired, he not only had to come in and revive his career, he had to try to fill a void that couldn’t be filled. “I think a lot of it is taken out of context,” Mayfield said. “It was never personal. That’s exactly what he asked of his players and that’s the aura of Tom Brady. That’s what he did to bring a championship here. [It’s] Nothing personal, but yeah, [we were] Conversation before the game. He’s obviously happy for me and he knows the guys. He knows how much fun I have throwing to the mic [Evans] and chris [Godwin] Because he has to do the same. It’s fun to be able to talk to guys like that about the same experiences. ”

Not only did the two speak before the game, but Brady interviewed Mayfield after presenting Mayfield with the LFG Most Valuable Player Award.
Lavonte David: “Tom is always welcome to Tampa”
Tom Brady was all smiles when he returned to Tampa Bay on Sunday.
Inside linebacker Lavonte David is one of the remaining players on the team who had a chance to play with Brady during his time with the Bucs. It is worth mentioning about David himself big game he hadHowever, after meeting the former quarterback in his new career, he threw love at him.
“It was fun,” David said of interacting with Brady before the game. “I was so happy to get a chance to see Tom again. He seemed happy doing what he was doing, which I love. Obviously, Tom is always in Tampa. He is welcome, especially his purpose. [brought] What does he do to this town? [brought] This organization and what he has brought to me as a football player. [with] How I was able to learn from him and how he taught me certain things.
“It was definitely a great opportunity to sit down and talk to him and laugh and things like that. Just being able to see him doing well was really nice.”
Bringing Tom Brady to town isn’t easy. Just ask general manager Jason Licht and the Bucks’ front office staff. Head coach Todd Bowles doesn’t think he’ll be the one to throw to. fox sports The aim is to invite him to more team matches in the future.
“I don’t think I have that kind of influence,” Bowles replied with a smile.
It remains to be seen when he will return, but his return to the place where he won the Super Bowl went as well as expected.
