Tiffany Haddish talks about new music and more.
“Extra’s” Billy Bush spoke with Haddish, who is currently single.
Tiffany, who was married and then in a highly publicized relationship with Common, joked a little when asked by Billy if she’d ever get married again.
She joked, “Can you ask me?”
He replied, “If I asked you, would you say yes?”
Tiffany commented, “I would ask…’What’s your credit score?'”
She continued, “And I say, ‘Can I go on a trip?'”
When Billy answered “yes,” Tiffany said, “Then I say yes too.”
However, if Tiffany expected the man to pay for the trip, she would refuse, saying, “He has to go.”
Haddish also shared her thoughts on online dating, saying, ” [her] It’s a name, not an alias.
Tiffany counter-questioned Billy, asking him if he was single, and after learning he was in a relationship, she jokingly said, “So why were you hitting on me?”
Billy laughed and said, “I don’t think so. I guess it was.”
“I guess I was,” Tiffany commented.
“I can’t help but cheat,” Billy admitted.
When asked about her ideal man, Tiffany said: “I like basketball players, hockey players, football players. Rugby. Maybe pickleball too.”
Tiffany revealed that this is a major stumbling block in a relationship, saying, “Your credit score is like your report card as an adult, and how responsible you are with your money will equate to how responsible you are with my heart.”
Currently, Tiffany is focusing on creating new music, such as her new song “Woman Up.”
The motivational anthem coincides with the release of Haddish’s equally inspiring book, “I Curse You with Joy.”
Tiffany explained the difference between being feminine and being masculine. She said, “I think being masculine is just holding in your emotions, not acknowledging them, and just working through it, right? Being feminine is acknowledging your emotions, acknowledging, ‘This is how I feel about this, but I’m going to work through it.'”
“Woman Up” is a personal song for Tiffany, as she explains, “I’m always trying to be feminine. I deal with insecurities all the time. Or not wanting to do something. But… I have people that depend on me.”
She also opened up about the challenges of being Tiffany Haddish, saying, “People expect me to go on and be funny. It’s all about charisma. I don’t get that every day.”
