The first PPV of 2023 is officially here. As I said in my recap, we plan to have these weekly events more consistently at both Bellator and UFC events. Before we break down some fights, follow us on social media @wocmain.
Terrance McKinney Fights don’t last long. He’s well-rounded, but wild. He’s not hourly, and within the UFC he’s 3-1, and all his fights stop in the first round, so it definitely shows this. His opponent, Ismael Bonfim, is making his UFC debut. While we’re sure he’s thrilled to be making his debut in his native Brazil, he could be in for a cultural shock. His final three matches came in Dana White’s Contenders his series and his LFA, all of which ended in a tie. As competition heats up and the UFC hopes to pitch a Paddy Pimblett vs. Terrance McKinney fight, we expect to see Terrance up his arms on Saturday night.
Prediction: Terrance McKinney (-135)

For Paul Craig and Johnnie Walker, I think Craig is being neglected on the betting line. Walker is a good fighter, but he could lose this match and get cut. He hasn’t proven in the past that he can win big fights. Both look great against inferior competition, but as soon as a real opponent is in front of them, they look mentally defeated and can’t win. An opponent and someone who could start making waves in the light heavyweight division, which has been the worst men’s division in MMA for quite some time since the departure of Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier.
Prediction: Paul Craig (+165)
The next fight to watch is between Jairton Almeida and Shamir Abdullahimov. Jailton Almeida has his 3-0 record as a heavyweight since being promoted and has his 15th-place contender in the division opposite him this weekend. Expect this trend to continue as he attempts to break into the top 15. Almeida is someone I believe is going to be a real problem for future heavyweights and I don’t think he’ll be in title contention any time soon, but I’d love to see him join the conversation in the years to come. You can see. He’s the more important favorite on the card, so it’s not worth spending money on a 31-year-old, but I think everyone should appreciate how good this fight is.
