5. The last few weeks of seeing Frida
Frida and her garden The exhibition, which runs until September 10, explores the influence of home and nature on Frida Kahlo’s work. The Naples Botanical Garden exhibit at 4820 Bayshore Drive in Naples recreates La Casa Azul, Kahlo’s mansion in the Coyoacan Municipality of Mexico City, and part of the extensive gardens that surround it. The exhibition is held in cooperation with: Frida Kahlo Museum. The exhibition is included in the garden admission fee. napoligarden.org
4. See Grammy-winning bands at Hertz
Grammy Award-winning Mexican-American band Los Tigres del Norte has sold millions of albums and is famous for its corridors of political content and stories about workers, immigrants, outlaws and politicians. 3. Paw Patrol Live!at Hearts Arena
The heroic puppies from Nickelodeon’s animated toddler TV series come to life in PAW Patrol Live!: “Heroes Unite,” an all-new show at Hearts Arena at 11000 Everblade Parkway, Estero. 2. Songwriters for Vets 2023 is Saturday
The Nashville songwriters are back for another concert in southwest Florida to raise money for veterans through the Veterans’ Songwriters Foundation. They perform and tell the stories behind the songs. The line-up includes Tim Nichols, Champ Jackson, Channing Wilson, Tyler Reeve, Patrick Davis and Jango Walker. Saturday, August 26th at 7pm. $125. 1. Improvise at Marco Island
Stage 2 improvement, Southwest Florida’s original improvisational company, will take the stage on Saturday, August 26 at 7:30 PM at Arts Center Theater, 1089 N. Collier Blvd., Suite 432, Marco Island. This family-friendly event is expected to showcase improvisational skills and a unique brand of comedy.
