Special Counsel John Durham, who recently appeared before Congress to answer questions about a bombshell report on the FBI’s failure to respond to allegations of Russian collusion with President Donald Trump in 2016, was heard in the hallowed halls of the Capitol. The content should chill the hearts of the American people from the bottom of their hearts.
Durham told the House Judiciary Committee, “The FBI has been too aggressive in accepting and using politically funded and uncorroborated opposition investigations like the Steele Dossier. The FBI stems from a political movement. We relied on the documents and the FISA application, knowing that there was likely to be material to do so.” Or a political opponent. ”
And whose political activism was it to funnel this misinformation into the FBI?
As if this wasn’t bad enough, and most certainly, at about the same time that the same FBI launched a case against Trump on a false pretext, an investigation into Mrs Clinton’s mishandling of classified materials went unindicted. I was trying to end it with
Durham said in his report that Clinton, a Democrat, and Trump, a Republican, were treated “significantly differently,” which is a good way to say it stinks.
According to Durham, frankly, the FBI does not have enough evidence to believe that the dirt unearthed on Trump came from the Clinton campaign and that it was an opposition investigation and not the product of a legitimate investigation. but they didn’t care.
John Durham silences Adam Schiff at Trump v. Russia hearing
In another startling revelation, the former head of the Crossfire Hurricane, known as the Trump investigation, was not shown any material information that would attribute the information to the Clinton campaign. . Apparently, agent Joe Pienka found out about this and was completely enraged. Who wouldn’t?
As you may remember, this was all back when FBI agents and ill-fated lovers Peter Strock and Lisa Page were texting love notes about not letting Trump be president.
Democrats on the committee, who have no interest in the Durham report, spent the morning denouncing and insulting the witnesses, even though the FBI itself admitted wrongdoing and claimed to have made corrections. .
When Durham was called a political hack and one Democrat suggested his reputation was tarnished for allegedly helping Trump, the special counsel was adamant in his response: My concern for my reputation is for the people I respect, my family, and my Lord.” ”
Durham’s findings, both in his report and in his testimony, are so egregious that the Justice Department, which heavily criticizes him for playing political games, is re-investigating Trump’s presidential candidacy. Not only are they doing it, they are now prosecuting him.
Think about it. Durham has proven that the 2016 Russian collusion investigation against Trump was poorly founded and politically motivated. Why should Americans even have the slightest belief that something has changed?
Perhaps if the Democrats could take this issue pretty seriously and admit wrongdoing as the FBI did, we could start rebuilding trust in these agencies. But instead, the Democratic Committee ignored it and surprisingly spent its time continuing its farce about Trump and Russia.
“Sixty percent of Americans now believe there are double standards in the Justice Department. You can see why they believe that, because double standards.” Because there is, and that has to change.”

The United States is in uncharted waters. The leading Republican presidential candidate faces a federal trial that could result in him campaigning from prison, and a majority of Americans trust the agency handling the case. do not have. It’s frankly terrifying.
Thankfully, Republicans, including many who didn’t name Trump, are taking a stand and pledging to make a difference. They include Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who has made Justice Department reform a centerpiece of his presidential campaign, and Senator Tim Scott, who has said he will fire FBI Director Christopher Wray as president.

Every Republican candidate, and indeed every Republican elected official, needs to stay focused on where they belong. That’s how the Justice Department should be, rather than staring blindly at Trump and his allies while keeping an eye on Democrats like Clinton and Hunter Biden.
Where there are two laws in society, there is no law at all, only power. John Durham has shown beyond doubt that this is exactly what is happening in the Justice Department, and if that doesn’t change, nothing else will.
