In our research, we took the time to put together the prices at which several different bars and pubs in the area serve Guinness, and used this to create an average by area.Over 250 pubs in total. asked the price of Guinness beer, an exhaustive search was conducted.
As a result, you can see how Greater London compares to other regions within the average Guinness price. I find the results particularly interesting.
There are some compelling results. You’ll be surprised to hear that the cheapest Guinness pints in the country are at He Barum Top Inn in Halifax. Alternatively, the most expensive one we found was in Rutland at The Olive Branch.
The results might have predicted certain trends for the north and south of England. Generally speaking, the north of England boasts the counties with the best Guinness prices, with Durham, Staffordshire and Merseyside the cheapest. , was the area where you could find the most expensive Guinness.
However, there are many exceptions to that “rule”. In Llandudno, King’s Head was a particularly eye-popping price in an otherwise less expensive part of the UK. Didcot’s The Royal Oak, on the other hand, was quite reasonably priced in an area where it’s hard to find cheap pints otherwise.
Like the aforementioned Barum Top Inn, these are other pubs in the UK that caught our eye with their fantastic low-cost Guinness.
