“The Bodyguard” actor Bill Cobbs has died at the age of 90.
Cobbs spokesman Chuck I. Jones confirmed his death To TMZ.
Cobbs died Tuesday night at his home in Riverside, California.
The cause of death is unknown.
Cobbs celebrated his birthday just one week ago, on June 16th.
After Bill’s death, his relative, Thomas Cobbs, Facebook He said his family celebrated his milestone birthday.
“Our family is comforted knowing that Bill has found peace and eternal rest with our Heavenly Father. We ask for your prayers and encouragement during this time,” Thomas wrote.
Cobbs was an actor for 50 years.
He played one of Whitney Houston’s staff members in The Bodyguard and also landed roles in films like Air Buddy, Night at the Museum and Oz the Great and Powerful.
Cobbs’ popular shows include “Texas Ranger,” “The Sopranos” and “I’ll Fly Away.”
Cobbs won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Limited Performance in a Daytime Program for her work on the children’s show Dino Dana.
