A surprising new round of Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s “It Ends with Us” legal battle is underway.
Baldoni just filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist Leslie Sloan, releasing a trove of their private texts and emails.
The 179-page document obtained by Extra accuses Blake and Ryan of extortion, defamation and invasion of privacy. Justin also claims that they tried to ruin his career with false allegations of sexual harassment.
The lawsuit also includes bombshell statements about the New York premiere of It Ends With Us, accusations that Blake told Justin to get a nose job, and accusations that Blake told Justin about a scene in the movie that Taylor had a nose job with. It also includes allegations that Swift put pressure on Justin.
Lively’s legal team has already hit back at this as “another chapter in the abuser’s strategy.”
At the New York premiere, Justin claims he was removed from the red carpet early and held in a basement until he was escorted to a separate theater from Blake to watch the film.
“She used intimidation and blackmail to force her once highly respected colleagues into the basement and to skip their own premieres, while ultimately forcing both Wayfarer and Sony to… “I enjoyed the spotlight at the premiere screening and afterparty that we co-sponsored.” ”

Baldoni provided a photo of himself posing with family and friends among a stockpile of drinks in the theater’s basement.
The document says, “Upon arrival, [at the premiere]Baldoni began to participate in red carpet photos and interviews without the presence of the rest of the cast. However, their time on the red carpet was suddenly cut short when Lively was reportedly on her way and was instructed to stop immediately.
“He and his family were immediately removed. The guards, acting as if they were a ‘flight’ risk, took Mr. Baldoni and his group to the basement of the building.” There they were holed up in a makeshift storage area consisting of nothing more than a square of folding tables and chairs, surrounded by commissary inventory. The irony of being locked in a basement on what was probably one of the most important nights of Baldoni’s career to date, surrounded by close friends, family, soda bottles, and lots of love, is lost on everyone. There was nothing left. ”

“Once it was determined that Lively and guests were ‘not present’ in the main theater, Baldoni and his group were directed to another theater to see the film,” the document alleges.
The group was then escorted outside by security to avoid a confrontation with Lively.
Baldoni also claims that Lively told her to get rhinoplasty. “Lively, on the one hand, accused Baldoni of making comments about her appearance, and on the other hand, made derogatory comments about Baldoni’s appearance and told him that he should get a rhinoplasty (nose job),” the complaint states. Baldoni has publicly expressed concerns about this. and discussed the topic of body dysmorphia on an episode of his podcast, “Man Enough.” Lively’s comments about Baldoni’s nose were also caught on camera. Rather than write out a list of grievances against Lively, Baldoni ignored them and continued with the scene. ”
Baldoni also claims that Blake wanted more control over the film’s script and editing.

In the section about Taylor, Baldoni claims that Lively “called” him to her New York penthouse, where Ryan Reynolds “began raving about” Blake’s version of the scene. Later that same night, he claims, “a well-known and close friend of Reynolds and Lively came into the room and began praising Lively’s script as well.”
Baldoni then texted Blake, praising her rewrite, claiming that “I would have felt that way without Ryan and Taylor,” and telling Blake, “You’re really talented across the board.” Ta.
In response, Blake praised Ryan and the celebrities who were edited as “‘Dance Moms’ level stage moms.”
She later added: “If you end up watching Game of Thrones, you’ll know that I’m a Khaleesi, and like her, I just happen to have a few dragons. For better or for worse, usually It will get better, because my dragons are also protecting the people I fight. So you will too, I promise.”
Baldoni’s takeaway document reads: “The message couldn’t be clearer: Baldoni wasn’t just dealing with Lively. He was also dealing with Lively’s ‘dragons,’ two of the most influential and wealthy celebrities in the world.” But they weren’t afraid to make things very difficult for him. ”
Blake has accused Justin of sexual harassment, but claims she was the one who did the “unchoreographed kissing scene.”
The document states that in one scene, “It was clear that Lively initiated an unchoreographed kiss. In one take, she pulled Baldoni in and kissed him once; and then he kissed him once.” Two more times, the number of kisses was initiated entirely by Lively and changed at her whim. ”
They added: “While Lively now disputes Baldoni’s alleged harmless improvisations that Lyle initiated while he was playing his character, Baldoni treated their relationship professionally in front of the cameras.” each doing his or her part.”
He also claims that Blake was trying to use him as a scapegoat. “Lively doubled down on her false and misleading accusations against Baldoni when faced with significant public backlash for her sometimes described as ‘tone-deaf’ and insensitive press tour for this film.” seemed determined to make Baldoni a real-life villain in her own story. I even went so far as to spread the word about an article. ”
TMZ caught up with Baldoni at LAX. said“We are grateful to be with our family,” he added, “and we have great friends, family, and faith.”
Justin’s lawyer, Brian Friedman, told Extra in a statement: “This lawsuit alleges that by disseminating heavily redacted information, Blake Lively and her team are accused of disseminating Justin Baldoni and his team; “This case is based on an overwhelming amount of unaltered evidence detailing duplicitous attempts to destroy each company.” , providing unsubstantiated, new, and falsified information to the media. Based on our full will to provide all complete text messages, emails, video footage, and other documentary evidence shared in real time between the parties, this is a battle she cannot win. , it is clear that you will definitely regret it. ”
The statement continued: “Blake Lively was either grossly misled by her team or intentionally and knowingly misrepresented the truth. Ms. Lively gained her personal reputation at the expense of those in power.” We must never again allow ourselves to continue to exploit actual victims of actual harassment just for the sake of LIVE. We are told the truth that Ms. Lee and her team tried to destroy reputations and livelihoods for nefarious and selfish reasons through their own dangerous media manipulation before actually taking legal action. We know, and now the public knows the truth. Justin and his team have nothing to hide and there are no lies in the documents.”
Lively’s legal team also responded in a statement obtained by Extra: “This lawsuit by Justin Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and their associates is another chapter in the abuser’s playbook. It’s a story about a woman coming forward with concrete evidence of sexual harassment and retaliation, and an abuser trying to turn the tables on the victim. This is what experts call DARVO. . Attack. Reverse victim criminal.
“The Wayfarers have issued media statements, filed baseless lawsuits, and threatened to sue in order to overwhelm the public’s understanding that what they are doing is retaliation for sexual harassment allegations. , chose to tap into the resources of its billionaire co-founders.”
“They are attempting to shift the narrative to Ms. Lively by falsely claiming that Ms. Lively took creative control and pulled the cast away from Mr. Baldoni,” the statement continued. The evidence will show that the cast and others had negative experiences with Mr. Baldoni and Wayfarer. Evidence will also show that Sony asked Ms. Lively to direct the Sony cut of the film, which was selected for distribution and was a huge success.
“Their response to the sexual harassment allegations was that she wanted it, it was her fault. Their justification for why this happened to her was because they saw what she was wearing. In other words, the victim focuses on the abuse, but the abuser focuses on the victim. The strategy of attacking the woman is hopeless and cannot refute the evidence in Ms. Lively’s complaint. It will fail.”
Justin’s lawsuit comes after Blake filed a lawsuit with the California Department of Civil Rights alleging that Baldoni sexually harassed her on set. At the time, she said: “I hope that my legal action will help bring to a close the evil retaliatory tactics that harm those who speak out about wrongdoing, and help protect others who may be targeted. .”
After The New York Times published an article about the incident and her claims that she was the victim of a smear campaign, Ms. Baldoni filed a $250 million defamation lawsuit against the newspaper.
The Times announced that statement “We intend to vigorously defend against the lawsuit,” he said.
In response, Blake filed a lawsuit against Baldoni and his public relations team for sexual harassment and “unconscionable” retaliation.
