Dealers have a lot of muscle on the bar and they all pull their guns. However, when Wrecker gets up and joins the fight, it’s basically all over. What follows is about a minute of fun action paired with a great Star Wars score.
sid is not a crosser
After escaping, Fee tries to explain to the clones that Omega needs to be more balanced. Sure, she’s forgotten about her soldier, but she can use her friends of her age and… other skills.Fee has already taught her her pirate ways, at least a little bit. is trying to teach Tech doesn’t understand why Omega needs to be around anyone other than them.
However, before they can continue their conversation, they are interrupted by a communication from Sid. Fee tells them she doesn’t blame them, but Sid explains that they aren’t the ones they want to cross over. Explaining that there isn’t, Fee leads them to her sanctuary, her “home away from home”, a place called The Pub.
The People of Pub
Arriving at the pub, Fie explains that while the artifacts obtained in that battle may not have great monetary value, they are meaningful to the people of this place and are part of the past and culture. Fie doesn’t seem to be as ferocious and selfish as viewers might have thought.
Fee introduces Clone Force 99 to pub mayor Shep Hazard and her daughter Lyanna, who is about the same age as Omega. It’s now clear why the conversation that Omega has friends her age was woven into the story.
The clones are revealed to be the first people Fee brought back to the pub. This means they don’t even know where Cid is, so it could be a good place for the clones to hide from her.
While touring the pub, Liana shows Omega an adorable monkey-like creature called Moonyo. .
It turns out that the pub was home to displaced refugees during and after the war. Hunter asked if they were worried about the empire appearing, and the mayor replied that they had no reason to be concerned as they were a remote island with few resources.
A new home for the clones?
You don’t have to show this to the viewer, but for story purposes, bad batch Episode 13 of season 2 includes a brief conversation between Fee and Hunter when he tries to convince him that he needs to be with Omega. You can play with The mayor even says there is no better place to raise a family.
After mentioning dessert after a filling meal, Wrecker claims he loves it there. His vote seems to be on staying. Omega and Liana board a boat to circle the island. Omega breathes sea air, and he confides that he cannot stay in one place for long because of the empire. When Liana asked if it made her lonely, she said she had never really thought about it, but when she does, it’s clearly getting to her.
trouble in paradise
Before Hunter brings up the idea of โโstaying in the pub to the rest of Clone Force 99, he senses that something is coming. Just in case, Omega and Liana enter from the water.
Warning sirens go off, and the clones and the mayor work together to move everyone to higher ground. Omega and Liana are pulled away from the island and dragged into the rocks by the tide and stuck in the water. The two girls jump off the boat to avoid injury and land hard on rocks. Riana is knocked out, but Omega is able to wake her up quickly.
Omega Radio Hunter informs him that they are in trouble. They run over the newly exposed water bed, but a huge wave comes and comes in fast. He told her to keep the locator on and get to shore as soon as possible.
Viewers know they’re not going to kill Omega, but with a crowd of villagers screaming for their lives as they drive past the clones and climb higher, it still feels like a high stakes.
Omega and Liana were picked up by the Marauders just long enough to avoid the wave. Almost at the same time as the last villager reaches the high ground. The mayor says there was a lot of property damage, but they can work together to rebuild.
Hunter suggests they stay behind to help things out and Tech admits he had the same idea. .
overall idea
Star Wars: Bad Batch Episode 13 of season 2 is one of the best this season as it follows the main storyline. Since the start of this season, and indeed the first season, Clone Force 99 has been at odds with the Empire. They found a little home with Sid, but then moved away from her as well.
Omega is just a kid, and has been mentioned many times throughout the season. With three episodes left in the season, with Crosshair second-guessing his decisions and Syd cornering them, we can only assume it’s not all sun and rainbows to close things out.
