“The Bachelor” alumna Haley Markt has died at the age of 31.
Markt, who appeared on Nick Viall’s season of “The Bachelor,” died on July 26 after a battle with leukemia.
The sad news was announced to her. Instagram.
The post read, “It is with heavy hearts that we share that our beloved Hailey has passed away after a courageous fight. Hailey faced this journey with unimaginable strength, grace and selflessness. Her determination, courage and will to live surpassed all deadlines the doctors gave her and she chose to spend her final moments surrounded by her loved ones and doing the things she valued most with no regrets.”
“She will forever be remembered as someone who was never boring, always so funny, and lived life to the fullest. Hailey embraced life with unmatched passion and her beautiful spirit touched the lives of countless people,” the post continued.
“Hailey will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her laughter, her love and her vibrant spirit left an undeniable mark on our hearts. While we are saddened by her passing, we are comforted by knowing her spirit will live on in the lives of all she touched. Rest in Peace Hailey. 🤍”

According to the page, at her request, no funeral will be held.
Daniel Maltby, who appeared on the same season as Haley, also commented on the post, saying, “I feel so blessed to have known your laugh and grateful to have met and loved such a real, warm, beautiful soul in this strange place. I am forever grateful for your friendship there and in real life…. What a powerful person you are. Rest in peace my daughter. Love to your whole family.”
Raven Gates added, “Oh my goodness!!! So sad to hear this 😢 I was really hoping she would recover. Rest in peace Hailey 🤍 You will never be forgotten.”
Just three months ago, Merkt announced on her GoFundMe page that she was “cured of leukemia.”
Things took a turn for the worse when Haley received news that her leukemia had returned and was progressing rapidly.
Merkut revealed that she had been diagnosed with leukemia in October.
