The picturesque capital of Portugal is one of my favorite cities in the world. I always enjoy my time wandering the maze of streets, enjoying the stunning sea views, and drinking endless wine.

Located on the southern tip of the country’s west coast, lisbon (or Lisboa as the locals call it) is a wonderful blend of museums, historic buildings, an eclectic music scene, a vibrant nightlife, charming squares, and cozy cafes. . I fell in love with this city the moment I arrived..

Lisbon has become increasingly popular in recent years due to its affordable cost of living and year-round pleasant climate. That’s one of them The world’s best city for digital nomads (and one of my personal favorites), we have a large community of expats and remote workers.

The location is also great. It is a few blocks west of Calle Liberdade, a leafy boulevard known for shopping. The hotel has a small kiosk in the park across the street where it’s fun to have a drink and watch the world go by. Breakfast is not included, but it’s worth it as it’s a nice buffet with everything from fresh Portuguese pastries to omelets. Also served in a cute little breakfast room.

The rooms are cozy and classy, ​​with hardwood floors, unique artwork on the walls, antique furniture, and chandeliers. We especially love the Portuguese tiles that surround the large windows and spacious bathroom. The free breakfast is also great, with Portuguese pastries, cold cuts, fresh fruit, omelets, French toast, and more.

The rooms are bright and airy, with lots of light coming in through window doors that open onto small balconies. I also really appreciated having a writing desk in every room (so you can get some work done in your room before heading out to sightsee).
