El Paso, like many towns along the U.S.-Mexico border, continues to see an influx of immigrants into its community. The city also expects a surge in immigration when Title 42, the Trump-era immigration policy that cut the number of asylum seekers the US allows under the COVID pandemic, expires on Dec. 21.
