Brian Pais, the Argentinian waiter suspected in Liam Payne’s death, has declared his innocence.
Ms Pais claims her home was searched by law enforcement authorities investigating how Ms Payne fell to her death from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires on October 16.
Pais told the Argentine news series Telefe Noticias that he met Liam at the restaurant where Liam worked in the weeks before his death, but added: “The reality is that I don’t supply drugs.” insisted.
And the man claimed they did drugs together at Liam’s hotel, but insisted: “I never took them.” [drugs] Either give it to him or take the money. ”
Argentine authorities have not yet commented on his claims, but Pais told reporters he has documents to back up his claims.
The shocking interview took place just hours after final details of Liam’s toxicology report were revealed.
The report found that Liam had alcohol, cocaine and prescribed antidepressants in his system.

Authorities have ruled out criminal activity and suicide as the causes of his death, saying he may have been in a semi-conscious or fully unconscious state.
The 911 caller claimed that Payne was overwhelmed with drugs and alcohol and had destroyed the room minutes before he fell to his death.
Authorities are also searching for a $30,000 Rolex that Liam had with him before his death, as it may have been stolen.
