The Netflix series Stranger Things is nearing its fifth and final season.
The hit show is mid-production, and the BTS trailer is giving fans a glimpse into this season’s strange happenings.
The YouTube video is captioned: “Taste it all, geeks, and let’s take this final, final journey!”
The video begins with a narration saying, “We’re about half way done filming. It’s very exciting. There’s a lot going on.”
The screen shows images of bike rides, a Hawkins High School sign and the stars gathered around a lunch table.
As the footage continues, fans get a glimpse of crew members building sets and preparing props, as well as their favorite cast members.
Millie Bobby Brown is photographed driving a car, and she reflects, “I started when I was 10. Now I’m 20. It feels so strange.”
Elsewhere, Jamie Campbell Bower reflected that “Season 4 was great, but Season 5 is going to be even better.”

Gaten Matarazzo can be heard observing the set and saying, “This is home. I just remember why I’m doing this and how much fun it is.”
Added newcomer Linda Hamilton: “I love this show. I’m a huge fan.”
Hamilton will join the cast, along with Nell Fisher, Alex Breaux and Jake Connelly, for a packed season.
The show is still in production and no air date has been set yet. The show is expected to premiere in 2025.
Extra interviewed Finn Wolfhard in March, where he said about Season 5, “I’m really happy to be back with the cast and crew. It’s emotional that it’s the final season, but we still have a long way to go, so I try not to get too sentimental. I think it’ll be okay to get a little more sentimental as we get closer to the final day.”
We also spoke with Campbell Bower back in June, who joked that he didn’t know anything about the next season, but said the cast is grateful and looking forward to it “happening.”
