In a TikTok posted on April 25th, TikToker @ogceethegoddess shared that he is going to Fort Hood for two weeks. She said she shared an airtag on her uniform cap in case she went missing and someone needed her location.
@ogceethegoddess wrote in the video caption of where he put the AirTag: “This is the most discreet place I could think of.” “I need to duct tape that MF.”
On Thursday, @ogceethegoddess’s video had nearly 7.5 million views on TikTok.

April 2020 Female Soldier Vanessa Gillen After being last seen at Fort Hood, he went missing. Her mutilated and burned body was found two months later.
Another soldier stationed at Fort Hood was charged with Gillen’s murder but committed suicide shortly afterwards. Gillen’s death sparked protests and prompted an investigation into Fort Hood’s culture. renamed Fort Cabazos last month opened its doors to honor the Hispanic-American general. John Bell Hoodwas a Confederate general.
Another female soldier, Ana Basardua Ruiz. died at Fort Hood March. Shortly after her death, officials with the Army Criminal Investigative Division reported:no obvious contradiction” at her death.
A TikToker user mentioned Gillen’s death in the comments section of @ogceethegoddess’s video.
“I miss Vanessa,” wrote @user5293687572095. “Mom, be careful.”
Fellow TikToker Malayna (@malayna18) commented that she had lived in Fort Hood for four years and advised @ogceethegoddess to “always take someone with you when you go out.”
Others told her to “stay safe” and shared they were praying for her.
