Modern Family star Sofia Vergara talks about a “very interesting year.”
Thursday night, she Said “I don’t want to say it’s ‘bad’ or anything like that, but it was very interesting and very difficult,” she said at the launch of her sun care brand Toty Transforma AHA, according to People magazine.
Referring to her breakup with Joe Manganiello, Vergara said, “I went through a divorce this year and also the SAG strike that went on for a very long time. I’ve seen my friends struggle. It’s been a weird, weird year because some people have had to pull their kids out of school, some people have had problems with their mortgages.”
In July, news broke that Sophia and Joe had split after seven years of marriage.

No matter what happens in her personal or professional life, Vergara remains optimistic. She said: I’m really looking forward to next year because everything is sorting out and I think everything will be fine. ”
In January, Sofia’s new Netflix show “Griselda” will premiere. She said: “I will be starting a world press tour right after the new year. [Eve], its ready. It’s going to be very exciting. ”
Vergara is hoping for a fresh start in 2024, but said: “I don’t know if there is such a thing as a fresh start at 51 years old.”
She continued, “I don’t know if it’s fresh anymore, but I’m just excited. I’m excited about the TV show that’s coming up. Toty has done very well since its inception and has a very good high People love it because it’s a quality product.”
Vergara teased that he has “a lot of projects coming up next year” that he hopes people will like.
