variety Muppets Mayhem has reportedly been canceled after just one season on the Disney+ streaming platform.
Muppets Mayhem will debut on Disney+ in May 2023, with co-creator Jeff Yorkes adding weight to speculation that Muppets Mayhem’s makeover will appear on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios added.
In response to a June 2023 article discussing this rumor, Yorks posted on Twitter: “Not going to lie, this was definitely part of our original pitch and we are very excited about this dream. That’s the other part. It’s amazing that it happens.”
Following reports of the show’s cancellation, it now seems highly unlikely that Muppets Mayhem would have been included in the hugely popular coaster’s theme change.
There has been speculation for years about Aeromusis’ involvement in Rock’n’Rollercoaster, with recent allegations against frontman Steve Tyler fueling rumors of a replacement for the band.

This roller coaster is one of Walt Disney World’s most popular thrill rides and recently reopened after years of renovations. Work was done on improving the ride system and lighting, but the show remained unchanged, maintaining the Aerosmith concert storyline.

Disney has not yet commented on the planned changes to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
