11thth November 2021Sharda University held its 5th A convocation ceremony held at the Greater Noida Campus honored talented and hardworking alumni who have demonstrated tremendous dedication to achieving their career goals.Federal Minister for Education Dr. Subhash Sarkar As the guest of honor, he presided over the convocation ceremony. Sharda University students and faculty include Dr. SP Singh Baghel, Minister of Justice, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Nobel laureate, Dr. K. Kasturirangan, ex-ISRO, and UP State Council Professor of Higher Education (Ph.D.) GC Tripathi.
At the convocation ceremony, Sharda University awarded 75 vice-chancellor’s medals, 4 rector’s medals, 26 Ph.D.s and 3232 degrees in various fields for their academic performance. Dr. Subhash Sarkar praised Sharda University for implementing the government’s new education policy which has been put into effect to change the current education system according to the times and progress that is underway. He said Sharda University is the best university in the NCR region and is doing a great job in shaping the future of its students by providing improved infrastructure.
He told the students that the convocation was the beginning of a new life for them and emphasized the importance of research and innovation. Dr. Sarkar said that the whole world is in awe of Indian knowledge, wisdom and culture and that it was our old universities that first opened the way of knowledge to the world. He added that the best way to serve our country and contribute to its development is to focus on research.
At the ceremony, Sharda University Rector PK Gupta conferred an honorary doctorate on architect Dr. Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan. new educational policy Dr. Mohammad Yunus, former chairman of ISRO, eminent Bangladeshi economist and Nobel laureate.
Dr. Yunus attended the ceremony online and shared his life experiences with attendees. He said that as long as he has a strong will, he will be blessed with great achievements. He also expressed confidence in the fact that the students there will not only bring glory to Sharda University with their future achievements, but also play an important role in the development of the world.
In his speech, Dr. K. Kasturirangan reflected on his contributions to ISRO and emphasized the importance of research and innovation. He said that basic needs should always be considered when it comes to providing education. I was told it was growing.
