Baker Mayfield isn’t alone. This week we have an award. After the Bucks defeated the Chargers 40-17 and played their best game of the season considering the quality of their opponent and the timing of the year, it was inevitable that everyone would be talking about this team. Not only did Tampa Bay score 40 points on the road, they did it against a Chargers defensive unit that ranks among the league’s best in scoring.
When it came to praising Tampa Bay for a job well done, it wasn’t just one person who was praised nationally. There were many backs who were given praise and admiration in one way or another.
Liam Cohen is rapidly rising through the ranks.

If offensive coordinator Liam Cohen was already considered a high-level candidate to take the team’s vacant head coaching job next season, he’s in the position he is now. Every week, Good Morning Football’s Peter Schrager wins the Coach of the Week award. This time around Cohen was recognized.
“A guy who spent years building an NFL resume under Sean McVay in Los Angeles is back in his hometown with a fully lit L.A. Chargers. This week’s coach is Buccaneers offensive coordinator, Liam Cohen,” Schrager said. “The Bucs offense scored 40 points, never punted, and racked up 506 yards of offense against Jesse Minter’s vaunted Chargers D. Bucky Irving gained 117 yards and the Bucs scored 223 yards. He ran for 9 of 15 yards on third down.
“Baker Mayfield only threw five incomplete passes and the team didn’t punt again. Remember, Dave Canales was last year’s OC, he was in Carolina. Getting the head coaching job, they hired Liam Cohen as their OC. Familiarize yourself with his name: Liam Cohen, a name that will be heard frequently in head coaching conversations over the next few weeks. will appear.”

This match was also very special as Evans achieved several additional milestones. He became the fifth player to have at least 50 catches in his first 11 seasons, joining Larry Fitzgerald, Torry Holt, Marvin Harrison and Anquan Boldin. This is his seventh career game with 150 or more receiving yards, tying him with Jerry Rice and one behind Tyreek Hill’s eight games, making him third all-time in this feat. Evans moved into 24th place on the NFL’s all-time receiving yards list, surpassing Jimmy Smith, Antonio Brown and Brandon Marshall.
On top of all this, Evans was named one of the three Stars of the Week by former teammate Tom Brady.

Former Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Jon Gruden has grown his social media presence since joining Barstool Sports and starting a show on that platform. Baker Mayfield was one of the quarterbacks. He “felt good” this week. Ranked second in the top five of Gruden’s famous corner “Gruden Grinders,” which he started as a color commentator on Monday Night Football, was veteran inside linebacker Lavonte David.
David looked like he was in his prime as he led the Bucs with 12 tackles, 8 solo tackles, 1.5 sacks, 1 tackle for loss, and 3 QB hits. David played great football
“He’s a mainstay of the Buccaneers’ defense, and he’s been that way for years,” Gruden said of David. “Lavonte David, No. 54. He went to Los Angeles to play for the Chargers and came back with 12 tackles, eight solo, and (two) sacks. The guy had 104 tackles. He He’s been working hard here in Tampa and has 31 fumbles in his career. I love Lavonte David.
Every Bucks fan feels the same way about Gruden’s last line about him.
