The Nationals are out of this tough series pair on this road trip and need to take care of the business against the struggling Rockies team. This is a kind of matchup they have to capitalize. Schedules don’t become easy once you get home. Now is the time to attack and accumulate some victories.

The Rockies appear in the series with a winning streak in six games and tote the worst record in baseball (3-15). Little Little was incorrect due to the purple and black in Mile High City. Starting with pitching, the Rockies are the last dead in MLB and have the worst team ERA (5.29), WHIP (1.59), and BAA (.290).
On the offensive, they won their final place in the run up to 18 games (52). He ranked 21st in batting average (.220) and 24th in base percentage (.285). The Rockies’ only bright spot is center fielder Brenton Doyle, with the former fourth round pick being Red Hot, which starts this year. Doyle’s batting average is 3 hours (.315) and 12 RBIs with a slugging rate of (.537).
Friday’s game between the Nationals and Rockies was postponed due to rain. It will be configured as part of the double header on Sunday.

Washington: RHP Jake Irvin (1-0)

On his final outing, Irvin had three hits and one scoreless inning vs. Pirates and one walk. Of his 87 pitches, 58 were on strike. Irvin faces another DUD attack and should produce similar results.

Senzatera was lit up with the Dodgers and Dodgers’ final performance and gave up a home run to Mookie Betts and Shohi Otani. The previous start was that he gave up nine runs to the brewer. Senzatera hasn’t been completely bad this season so far. On the first two starts, he performed scorelessly. Now, see which Antonio Censatella will appear at Coorsfield on Sunday.

Washington: RHP Blood Road (0-1)

Against the pirates, we saw Lord go the longest in 4.1 innings in any game this year. He has given up on six hits and is walking three batters. Still, it would be interesting to see how long the leash is for one of the worst offenses in baseball.

Freeland gave up five runs that earned five innings in his final outing vs. Padres. He made at least five innings in his first four starts this season. So, if he’s at least eating innings for the Rockies, if he’s rocked.

Washington: LHP Mackenzie Gore (1-2)

On the Gores’ final outing, he used 105 pitches against the Marlins, allowing four runs and three walks in six innings. Gore, who leads the National League with strikeouts (32), appears to have returned to the pitcher he saw in his first few starts earlier this year. Especially with this bad Rockies offense.

Hollander went on a decent outing in his final start against San Diego, allowing two runs in 5.2 innings with three hits. The Rockies’ stagnation violation did not support him with his first MLB loss.
I hope that the public doesn’t fall into traps sipping Colorado Kool-Aid. They are I have it Take at least two out of three against the Rockies. The series is a great opportunity to re-take offense as Colorado pitching staff struggles and the game is played in one of the most hitter-friendly parks in baseball. They need to make the most of it.
