Sean Combs, 54, was arrested in New York City following a grand jury indictment, according to the New York Times.
Sources say the rapper was taken into custody in Manhattan.
However, the specific charges related to the indictment are currently unknown.

His lawyers said In a statement, the Times said Diddy had come to New York of his own volition because he expected the charges to be filed.
The statement continues, “Sean Diddy Combs is a music icon, a self-made entrepreneur, a family man and a proven philanthropist who has built an empire over the past three decades, loves children and strives to uplift the Black community.”
The message continued: “He is an imperfect human being, but he is not a criminal.”
Combs has faced serious legal trouble from various fronts for months but has strongly denied any wrongdoing.
