Dear:
We urge your media outlets to discontinue their association with China Daily, an English-language newspaper owned and operated by the Central Propaganda Department of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
The Chinese Communist Party’s efforts to infiltrate American institutions are widespread, and news organizations are not immune to these efforts. China Daily is one of the Chinese Communist Party’s main organs to subvert the US news media by expanding the party’s goals and ambitions.
Several years ago, a Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) filing revealed that U.S. media had repeatedly violated FARA’s reporting requirements, as well as hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars. It was revealed that China Daily’s propaganda activities had become a hot topic. In response, several news organizations severed ties with China Daily. Despite mounting evidence that the Chinese Communist Party is harassing and threatening Americans, spying on sites of national security importance to the United States, and attempting to influence elections, your news organization We have chosen not to sever our relationship with Daly. Your organization’s continued involvement with the Chinese Communist Party’s Propaganda Bureau impedes countless federal efforts to combat plans to spread Chinese influence.
China Daily is an arm of the Chinese Communist Party. This is a well-known fact, and there are countless examples of dealer loyalty to the party. From whitewashing the Uyghur genocide in Xinjiang to excusing the Chinese Communist Party’s continued funding of Russia’s war against Ukraine, China Daily’s mission is to spread the party’s goals. By continuing to do business with China Daily, your outlet will be disseminating Chinese Communist Party propaganda to American audiences. No U.S.-based company, including news organizations, should be complicit in justifying the Chinese Communist Party’s heinous actions or promoting the regime’s blatant lies. We urge your media outlets to disassociate themselves from China Daily and other Chinese Communist Party-affiliated organizations. We look forward to your immediate response.
Sincerely,
