New brand identity launches in Q4 2023 Collaboration with “The Shapes of Ronzoni” marketing campaign

Louis (October 24, 2023)–Ronzoni, America’s No. 1 regional pasta brand, is relaunching with a refreshed brand identity and integrated marketing campaign that honors its 108-year heritage while adapting to the needs of today’s dynamic shoppers. The brand was acquired by St. Louis-based 8.th Avenue Food & Provisions will introduce a new logo, website and packaging design in 2021 to inspire customers to explore Ronzoni’s 30+ pasta shapes and enhance the shopping experience for consumers.

Ronzoni partnered with St. Louis-based Marketplace Branding to deliver a positioning strategy based on an evolutionary approach, and the ultimate visual identity and packaging design.
“The new identity bridges Ronzoni’s heritage to its next evolution,” said Shelby White, Marketplace Creative Director. “To ensure consumer recognition, we have intentionally retained familiar elements, such as the primary blue color and the arched logo typography. At the same time, we have a brighter color palette and very realistic pasta shapes. The introduction of illustrations improves shelf visibility and helps consumers find their desired shapes or explore new shapes.”
Consumer tests confirmed that the new packaging design is still recognized as the Ronzoni brand, but ‘better’, in association with the key attributes of modernity, reliability and high quality.
This strategic rebranding effort will be realized through “The Shapes of Ronzoni” marketing campaign launching this fall across a variety of channels including social, digital and in-store media.
