UFC Hall of Famer and former bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has announced the birth of her second daughter, Rikoura Pauomahinakaipiha Brown, with her husband, former UFC heavyweight Travis Browne. Rousey shared the happy news on Instagram, marking another milestone in the life of one of the most influential figures in women’s mixed martial arts (WMMA) history.
The couple’s first daughter, Laakea Makarapuaokalanipo Brown, was born in 2021, and baby Rikoula also joined their growing family. Known for her pioneering career, Rousey has become best known as the first female champion in UFC history and as the driving force behind bringing WMMA to the forefront of the sport. Her dominance in the Octagon, combined with her charisma, helped establish the UFC’s women’s division.
Although Rousey retired from MMA in 2016, her legacy continues to be a source of inspiration for fighters around the world. Outside of the cage, she successfully transitioned into a professional wrestler with WWE, wrote a best-selling autobiography, and continues to advocate for women’s empowerment in sports.
News of her new daughter was greeted with an outpouring of love and blessings from fans and fighters alike, recognizing not only Rousey’s contributions to the sport, but also her important role as a mother.
Rousey’s journey from Olympic Judo medalist to UFC Champion, WWE Superstar, and now proud mother of two continues to inspire. We at WMMA Ranking would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ronda, Travis, Lakea, and their newest addition, baby Ricoura.
Welcome to the world, Ricoura Pauomahinakaipiha Brown!
