SOUTH DAYTON – About 30 talented students are gearing up to entertain community members by taking to the stage in a musical for South Dayton’s summer theater camp.
In the drama club, “James and the Giant Peach Jr.” The event will take place Thursday and Friday, July 25th and 26th, 2024 at 6pm in the Pine Valley Middle/High School Auditorium. Tickets will be sold at the door for $8 for adults and $5 for students.
The cast is made up of 34 students from grades 5-8, plus many high school student volunteers who provide direction, lighting, stage crew and sound.
Based on Roald Dahl’s 1961 children’s book. “James and the Giant Peach Jr.” It’s quirky and family friendly, suitable for all ages.
