Two years after their separation, “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Ashley Darby has officially ended her marriage to Michael Darby.
After several seasons of saying she would file the papers, TMZ reports that Ashley has finally filed for divorce.
michael said TMZ They say they have reached an “amicable and fair settlement” that includes joint custody of their two sons, Dean and Dylan.
Just a few days ago, Ashley told Andy Cohen it would be a “very big update” during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
She said she would talk more about this at the “Real Housewives of Potomac” reunion.
They announced it would end in April 2022.
Ashley broke the news. tell Bravo, “When Michael and I said ‘I do,’ we expected to share every day together from that moment on. Unfortunately, that’s not our current reality. I do.” We have decided to separate.”
She added, “People will be quick to attribute this to reality TV’s intrusion into the most personal parts of our lives, such as age gap issues, cultural issues, parenting differences, etc.” All these pieces may have influenced our genuine love for each other, but there was no underlying reason why we decided to go our separate ways.”
There was a 29 year age difference between the couple. She noted that the two are at “completely different stages in life” and have “different goals,” adding, “We both want the other to achieve true happiness and fulfillment.” However, I feel that we cannot achieve this together.”
