Revolution Farms of Caledonia, Michigan has announced a recall of 15 packaged salads manufactured in April due to contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
The recalled salad mix was packed between March 3rd and March 11th. Some have expiration dates until his March 28th.
“The recall is that the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) received positive results for Listeria monocytogenes in a random sample test of a single package of ‘Revolution Farms Green Sweet Crisp – 5oz Retail’ with an April expiration date. It began on February 2, 2023, according to the company’s recall notice provided to the Food and Drug Administration.
No illnesses have been confirmed at the time the recall notice was posted on April 5.
The recalled products were sold in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin. Stores that received recalled salad mixes include SpartanNash stores, Meijer stores, Bridge St. Market, Kingma’s Market, Fresh Time Market Grand Rapids, Fresh Time Market Kalamazoo, Horrocks Market Grand Rapids, Doorganics, Cherry Capital Foods, and Gordon Foods. Service, including Van Eerden Foodservice. , Vine Line Produce, Luna Restaurant, Russ’ Commissary, Pearson Foods Corporation.
All recalled products were distributed under the Revolution Farms brand name. Consumers can use the information below to determine if any products have been recalled.

The 5 oz retail package is a clear plastic tray sealed with a printed lid film and has the expiration date stamped on the bottom of the tub. The 6 oz Salad Kit is a clear plastic container with a wrap label and a sell-by date stamped on the side of the container. 3 lb bulk packages are clear plastic bags with the package date stamped on the case label.Photos to help customers identify what is being recalled Click here for the product.
Revolution Farms is working with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on this ongoing research.
Affected retailers have been instructed to remove all recalled products from their store shelves.
