room
The St. Regis San Francisco offers a variety of room options, from our entry-level Superior to our expansive 297-square-meter Presidential Suite.
We checked into our 64-square-meter Astor Suite with private butler service, consisting of a bedroom, separate living area, and large bathroom.
The interior is refreshingly modern, with dark fumed oak floors accentuating the light, neutral palette and floor-to-ceiling windows that span nearly the entire width of the outward-facing walls.
The suite itself is spacious, with a large sitting area consisting of a large sofa and two comfortable lounges, a glass-enclosed coffee table, and a 55-inch TV with access to local and cable channels. There is a nice office nearby.
A small hallway leads to the bathroom on the left and the bedroom on the right, with a plush king-size bed…
…and easy access to bedside power outlets with both AC and USB outlets.
A pile of plush pillows, a padded headboard, a second television, an iron and ironing board, bathrobes, and a wardrobe complete with slippers complete the bedroom.
Across the hall is a large marble-clad bathroom with two vanities.
…deep soaking tubs and walk-in rain showers, all complete with luxurious Remède bath amenities.
Attentive and personalized service includes a 24-hour butler staff to attend to your every need. Services range from twice-daily garment pressings to late-night cocktails delivered to your room.
Also standard are complimentary bottled water, fully stocked minibar (standard prices for a hotel of this level), Nespresso machine and twice-daily housekeeping (including a turndown service). increase.
jobs
There is no executive lounge on site, but there is a small business center where essential tasks such as photocopying, printing, and scanning can be done for a fee.
Thankfully the room is well appointed with a large desk set in the windowed corner.
On the downside, the hotel charges extra for in-room high-speed WiFi unless you are a Bonvoy Gold member or above. This two-tier approach is common, but given that we’re on the gateway to Silicon Valley, high-speed Internet should be the norm.
Power outlets placed at the convenient desk and comfy chair mean you can keep your devices running for hours on end.
The lobby is another area suitable for casual business rendezvous.
eat
The dining front offers three attractive options: Astra Restaurant, The St. Regis Bar, and Astra Tea Salon, where guests can enjoy afternoon tea.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, Astra is the hotel’s flagship store. Featuring sophisticated service and fresh, seasonal ingredients, it offers exquisite cuisine with a Californian flair with French and Italian influences.
At dinner, we glanced at the menu and decided to start with the chilled oysters with cucumber mignonette and truffle hot sauce…
…followed by Spanish octopus with romesco and charcoal potatoes hit the spot.
The highlight of the dinner was the Ora King Salmon with a nice lemon barre sauce, sunchoke, arugula and a soft touch of basil oil.
Breakfast is also served each morning from 6:30 to 10:30. Options on hand to start our day included the St. Regis Benedict, Truffle Omelette and Avocado on Toast.
When you need that natural pull for an after-dinner drink, head to the St. Regis Bar, located in the nearby lobby.
Here, gleaming brass features and an intimate grouping of chairs and sofas set the backdrop for a curated selection of cocktails crafted by mixologists.

To complement it, a two-level luxury spa due to open this year will offer signature treatments such as detox massages and elaborate ‘rituals’, while an indoor swimming pool will also open in 2023, perfect for soaking. provide a place Take your worries away.

Overall, The St. Regis San Francisco is an impressive hotel that lives up to its brand reputation. As a business base in San Francisco, this hotel is excellent because of its central location.
