A modest little sign approaching the famous Hermanus on Hemelenard Road Moya vineyards The entrance believes in the majestic scene at the edge of the driveway. Protected from the wind by established coniferous lanes, the farm is confidently located on the valley floor, claiming an environment considered wise style and country elegance.

welcome
Modeled after a classic Mediterranean country mansion and framed as a background by the mountains of Babylon Stolling, we were soon transported to Tuscany’s nearly felinièque dream. The two-storey home with an adjacent barn is placed over a terraced lawn view with a naturalistic garden, offering rose and herb perfumes to arriving guests.

At the front door, Nikki, the real estate manager, gave us a sincere welcome and guided us towards the snacks waiting for us. But the treat had to wait as we took the time to absorb the scene before us and were familiar with our homes for the next few days.
room
My visit to the Moya vineyards was planned with a group of friends near South Africa, sharing weekend connections and tribal construction. So this farmhouse was an ideal accommodation. It’s comfortable to host 20 guests and keep social gatherings and entertainment in mind.
The Moya’s Vineyard bedroom offers comfort, rest and convenient elegance. The entire top floor of the main etiquette is dedicated to two spacious king suites. Each has a room for a bed bed if necessary, but the bathroom with a large pedestal tub and intimate views of the valley and garden provides cleansing for the mind, body and soul.

Named after its partial use as a real farm workspace, the barn is primarily dedicated to one king suite, kitchen and first floor living space. The loft above features two attractive hall rooms. There are four single beds each can be placed in a double position. It is a bit practical yet generous and acts as an adult hideaway or child escape.
Every room is appointed with all the vanity and comfort you need. The linen is gorgeous. The textiles are richly tactile and the decorations are organically toned. The floor is carpet and the large windows are heavy enough to sleep despite the morning sun.
Bathroom
There is a lot to say about the various bathrooms, but sometimes the picture is painted a thousand words. In this case, we leave an image of a Victorian-era bus in the Master Suite.

Everything you need to plan your trip in 2024
place
“Heaven on Earth” is a direct translation of Hemel En Aalde and resonates in all senses. Just 90 minutes by car from there Cape Town (There is a mandatory pit stop at Peregrine Farm Stall), the valley is most famous for its award-winning Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Moya’s vineyards are perfectly located as a hub for exploring the valley. In-house activities such as vineyard walks, boules, picnics and sundowner bars can all be arranged by Hospitality Manager Nikki and her team, but outbound excursions to the surrounding area for wine tasting, horseback riding, Mountain Beach, Family Beach Day, golf or tennis can also be coordinated with a variety of residences. If you’re not planning on dining at home, the selection of highly rated restaurants in the valley caters to the refined flavors of any gourmet. You will be spoiled for your choice.

The trip of lazy roads along Hemel En Ard Road is itself a “must-have activity.” In addition to sampling many world-class offerings from cellars along the route, the spectacular natural beauty revealed behind each bend will force you to stop frequently from your car, get out on Earth and be immersed in heavenly scenery.

Set within a 45 hectares private wine farm, Moya’s Vineyard offers a variety of spaces and activities for guests to enjoy. With spectacular views of the valley and towering ocean views in the distance, the wraparound veranda invites you to relax in the sun, enjoy a drink, or place a table outside for an Alfresso meal like never before. Widely open and well-maintained lawns provide ample space for play and falls.

The huge hearth in the Commons Room adds warmth to the spacious area to relax and relax before dinner. Meanwhile, the 20-seater dining room table has been a source of conversation and laughter since dessert was served. You can also use quiet research away from the living area to keep up with your loved one’s video calls and work emails (if you can really do that).

Other nice touches
Full catering and private chef services are available, but hosting enthusiasts will fall in love with the kitchen hall of Moya vineyards. With all the modern conveniences you can imagine, and inspired by the “Provençal Classic” style, this kitchen is a dream for any foodie. This space is often the focus of improvisation gatherings while food is being prepared. Spices and seasonings are available in abundance, but explore the property. Explore the premises. The grounds are served with a variety of fresh herbs and table greens to ignite the culinary creativity.

The farm preserves sufficient natural habitat for small faunas to thrive. Frogson fills the air with a fun chorus every night. Early one morning I ran through my olive gloves and moved with the bounty of the gymnast. If you are a birdwatcher, you are lucky: the farm gardens attract many feathered friends and engrave them on your list. Jostole of Cape Sunbird for the universe with sweetly fragrant Sylvias planted right next to the veranda, with bees. Robbins and Thrush are easily displayed to say hello before zooming off. Cape Kestrel circles grapes and orchids, searching for prey from above. After dusk, the young Cape Eagle owl entertained us with its comical hops while searching for worms and lizards on the grass.
cost
Prices are seasonally dependent from R20,000 per night (sleeping up to 20 people), housing butler, housekeeper, host, welcome snack house staples and amenate.

The best bit
The estate features two mountain dams, each decorated with lotus and bruches, providing the opportunity to drink refreshing dips and paddles when the sun seduces. Both dams are ideal for picnics. Staff can easily arrange and set up.

Yes, Moya’s vineyards are visually impressive. Within the environment, helpless design, luxury and convenience are perfectly balanced. Yes, the hospitality experience is an exception. Most requests can be met by Nikki and her team. Yes, the surrounding area ranks perhaps the most breathtaking in views and experiences across Africa. It really feels like heaven on earth.
