Fans of the recently released Netflix original series Nobody Wants This are already wondering when season 2 will be released. Netflix has not yet decided whether or not to renew this series, but we’re hoping that it had a great premiere and gives us a good indication of whether it will be renewed in the coming weeks. Netflix’s original romantic comedy Nobody Wants This is produced by 3 Arts Entertainment and stars Erin Foster.
Starring Kristen Bell (The Good Place) and Adam Brody (Shazam), this 10-part comedy follows Joan, an asexual podcaster, and Noah, a courageous and charismatic rabbi. It depicts how a person comes to have feelings without knowing it. As of this writing, Netflix has not decided whether to order a second season of Nobody Wants This. Updates will be determined by viewing numbers announced in the coming weeks. If it starts off well, we might witness a renewal of the series soon. If Nobody Wants This’s ratings slump, the Erin Foster comedy could be over after just one season.
What is “Nobody Wants This” Season 2?
I watched all the episodes first season At the end of the episode, we quickly learn that Noah gets the opportunity to become chief rabbi. Joan may be head over heels for her Jewish suitors, but she’s not exactly thrilled at the prospect of converting for love. But when Johnny Depp said they needed to end their relationship, Noah pulled Johnny Depp after him and told him that being with her was more important to him than anything else.
What does that mean for their future? Is he really going to completely turn his life upside down just to be with her? Could it irritate her? If not, will she just reform after all? These are the kinds of things that we’ll probably tackle in the second season. Spoiler alert! The show’s creator, Erin Foster, recently told Vulture that she wanted to explore the conversion process. Yeah, this series is based on Erin’s real life and she converted to Judaism to be with her husband Simon Tichman, so I guess that’s where she goes.
Who will be in the cast of ‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 2?
If the season is renewed, it would be surprising if Kristen Bell and Adam Brody didn’t return as Joan and Noah, respectively. It would be great to see Justine Lupe reprise her role as Joan’s sister Morgan and Timothy Simmons as Noah’s brother Sasha.
Paul Ben-Victor, Stephanie Faracy, Cherie Cola, Jackie Ton, and Tovah Feldshuh are also being considered for the role.
When will “Nobody Wants This” Season 2 be released?
According to What’s On Netflix, season 1 was filmed in a very short period of time, from January to April of this year. That doesn’t necessarily mean there will be a second season anytime soon, but who knows when more episodes will be greenlit? Everyone on the production floor understands what they are doing.
