On Monday, Reba McEntire returned to “The Voice” for the finale after hosting the 17th annual ACM Awards!
“Extra” spoke with Reba about her surprise performance with “gentle” Post Malone at the ACM Awards and working with Gwen Stefani, who will be returning to “The Voice” next season.
Reba was “giddy” to see Gwen at the ACM Awards, adding, “I’m so happy to have her back.”
Gwen’s husband, Blake Shelton, was always against Reba hosting the show without him. She said, “The last time I hosted, I co-hosted with Blake…We’re a close-knit team, we all get along well, and I love both of them.”
Could Blake return as a co-host next year? “I asked him, ‘Would you come back and host it with me?'” Reba said. He said, “That’s not true.” ”
Reba also talked about how excited she is that her two artists are making it to the finals of “The Voice,” saying, “They’re both thrilled to death…I just keep encouraging them and… I keep telling them to have fun.” ”
Although “The Voice” has come to an end, Reba has something special in store for her new sitcom “The Happy Place,” in which she reunites with Melissa Peterman and co-stars with boyfriend Rex Lynn. I am.
she said: “I love doing sitcoms. It’s a lot of fun, and with Melissa, it’s fun to be anywhere. There’s a lot of shenanigans going on in front of four cameras. The rest of the cast is great. has a boyfriend, Rex…Melissa, Rex, and me.”
Reba called working with Rex “amazing,” adding, “We’ve also got two other projects together, ‘Big Sky’ and ‘The Hammer.’ We love working together. What’s really great is that he’s my coach, so when I’m at home he helps me with my lines.”
