For those keeping track of scores, Justin Tucker has 12 points, the Ravens have six, and the Titans have three. The only score not scored by a kicker today belongs to Zai Flowers.
oh. John Harbaugh probably feels like a genius right now. Instead of going for a long field goal, he punted on fourth-and-3. The Titans’ Kyle Phillips continues to muffle points outside the shadow of the end zone. Then with one second left on the clock, Justin Tucker kicks his goal down the field and the Ravens end the first half with an 18-3 lead.
Lamar Jackson went down on third-and-goal for a 4-yard loss. Please tell me if you’ve heard this before. Justin Tucker will be shooting for another field goal. Ravens, 9-3.
And then there’s the 70-yard punt return by Devin Duvernay. The Ravens’ first play will be inside the red zone.
The first punt of the game is approaching. Derrick Henry got a first down, but a foul formation wiped it out. The next play is an incomplete pass.
There have been plenty of red zone visits for both teams, but so far there have only been three field goals between the Ravens and Titans. Lamar Jackson threw the first incompletion of the game, a throw to Odell Beckham Jr. in the back of the end zone, which also led to Justin Tucker’s field goal. Tucker made a 28-yard field goal to give Baltimore a 6-3 lead at the end of the first quarter.
