Prince Harry surprised royal watchers on Thursday with an unannounced visit to Britain to say farewell to his uncle, Sir Robert Fellowes, and on the trip, he met his estranged brother, Prince William.
The visit, which came just days after the anniversary of the boys’ mother’s death (Diana died on August 31, 1997), brought Prince Harry and Prince William within a few feet of each other. people The magazine reports that the two have never spoken to each other.
The two were so close physically, the pastor who performed the ceremony said: solar“As I was greeting the congregation on my way out, Prince William shook my hand, followed shortly after by Prince Harry.”
Harry, 39, and William, 42 – both older than their mother was at the time of her death – attended the funeral at St. Mary’s Church in Snettisham, Norfolk, sitting apart surrounded by close friends and relatives. Their wives were not in attendance.
One of the 300 guests told People magazine: “Most people were surprised that Harry had come. He was doing amazingly well and you could tell he was so happy to see everyone and was delighted that he had come.”
The Spencer family has treated both Prince William and Prince Harry with warmth, and Harry has been seen chatting with all three of his mother’s surviving siblings: Charles Spencer, 60, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, 69, and Lady Jane Fellowes, 67, who was widowed following Lord Fellowes’ death on July 29 at the age of 82.
Harry and Meghan stepped down from royal duties four years ago. Daily Mail Reports suggest that Harry may be back and looking for a way to repair their relationship.
