Former President Donald Trump is the only presidential candidate strong enough to lead our nation safely through the existential crisis of the battle between free market democracy and socialism.
Trump deserves the votes of all those who believe in strong borders, low taxes, less-intrusive government, peace through strength, and success through merit. It’s a choice between Trump and Biden. (Extremist politicians like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. simply don’t matter in the math of the election. Trump and Biden are the only real contenders.)
All Americans, especially Republicans who voted for Biden in 2020 and Democrats who feel they are no longer welcome in their party, need to take a hard look at reality. His disorganized appearance at the recent G7 summit in Italy, his stiff attitude at the Juneteenth celebration at the White House, and many other “senior moments” make it increasingly clear that President Biden does not have the stamina or mental strength to serve another four years in a role that greedily ages all those in office. He is increasingly unable to rein in the far-left wing of the Democratic Party that hates Israel, puts drag queens in elementary school libraries, and calls for race-based reparations.
Trump trails Biden in key battleground states: poll
I am not a MAGA or Never Trumper. I proudly served President Trump and our country as Ambassador to the European Union. I agreed with him on most issues and disagreed on some. But even with our differences, I know his policies are strong, he is intelligent, physically tireless, and deeply committed to the United States. I would proudly vote for him again and work for him.
I am not alone. With Biden’s decline and desire to put the country first, most Republican leaders are returning to the team. The flip-floppers include Mitch McConnell, who previously said Trump was “virtually and morally responsible for provoking” the events of January 6, but now supports Trump and calls their recent exchanges “completely positive conversations.” Similarly, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu and former Attorney General Bill Barr have also changed their tune. Even former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley said she would put aside her grievances and vote for Trump. With each new headline about Biden’s mess, the list of Never Trumpers is shrinking.
Trump is also setting aside personalities and petty differences. He is more focused on where America the Supertanker is headed and how to get it back on track. Meeting with Republican senators earlier this month, Trump declared, “I agree with them 1,000 percent and they agree with me 1,000 percent. We agree on just about everything, and if we disagree, we work it out.”
So why are there still people who are resisting? George Conway, several former Trump staffers, and others who willingly testified at the impeachment hearings (rather than reluctantly, like me) to gain global attention are feigning some sort of moral high ground. But let’s call it what it is: a terrible headline grabber. Or is it all down to a personal grudge? Who knows. But maybe it’s a matter of style.
Some don’t like Trump’s style. Consider the difference between Barack Obama’s bin Laden speech and Trump’s al-Baghdadi speech: the old-school scholarly one and the brash, pushy New Yorker the other. Obama calmly stated, “Bin Laden’s death is the greatest achievement yet in our nation’s effort to defeat al-Qaeda,” while Trump roared, “He died like a dog!”

Trump is a master of distilling any policy proposal to its essential parts, putting it on the table, and forcing people to make a choice. He finds the elephant in the room, and the conversation gets louder. But it also makes a lot of people uncomfortable, and it causes some people to vote against him.
But Trump has the stamina to stand behind his words and withstand criticism for his behavior. Since he got off the escalator in 2015, Trump has faced 100% backlash from most of the mainstream media, yet he continues to go from strength to strength. America loves a warrior.
I can vouch firsthand for Trump’s physical and intellectual stamina, his ability to think and speak extemporaneously without notes or briefings. I have traveled with him on several occasions, and on a 16-hour trip through Louisiana, I was so exhausted that he asked, “Where next?” Compare this to President Biden, who cannot even greet a foreign dignitary simply without consulting a note.
With Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Israeli-Hamas war, a crisis on America’s border, and the biggest terrorist threat to America since 9/11, we need Trump’s relentless energy and speed, not someone who will leave Afghanistan with people falling to their deaths off the sides of American C-17 planes.
Trump has incredible foresight and a drive to sweep aside obstacles and execute quickly. He always checks the clock, not the calendar, and that’s always going to change. Slow Joe was once a rally insult; now it’s a crushing reality.

So anyone who still says no to Trump needs to think about what “Make America Great Again” means today. You don’t have to hang your hat to believe that Americans deserve to be treated better. You just have to believe that free-market democracy is better than socialism, and that strength is better than weakness.
We don’t need perfection, just someone who is willing to right the wrongs of the past four years and put all the energy they have into that.Donald’s sprint is the answer to Joe’s mess.
