Manchester City goalkeeper Edason crowned the match player after a great display during the match. However, the most controversial moment came at the second goal of the game for Erling Haaland, which was banned for handball, reaching the end of the game, but some fans suggested it wasn’t handball. Amorim’s team snatched one in the 22nd minute with an OG from Ipswich to bring the score back to level. A head goal from defender Matisse Deligto then gave them the lead. But Patrick Dolgue’s red card in the 43rd minute meant United had to play the rest of the game with 10 men. Ipswich got equal just before halftime and looked like United were on a course where they dropped points. However, it was Harry Maguire’s goal in the 47th minute that gave United the lead as the team held it all the way to the final whistle.
Chelsea 4-0 Southampton. Blues cruises to victory
Finally, Chelsea faced Southampton at Stamford Bridge, which was the everyday fixture of Enzo Maresca’s team. The goals of Christopher Nukank, Levi Colwill, Pedro Neto and Mark Kukulera spelled out Chelsea’s victory in the dominant exhibit against Southampton.
