Portland, Oregon (light seal) — After weeks of Oktoberfest celebrations, Portland’s furry friends are finally joining in on the fun.
saturday afternoon, Dove Lewis Animal Hospital The 28th Annual General Meeting was held dogtoberfest at Lucky Lab Brew Pub on Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard.
This event claims to be the Rose City’s largest pet-friendly Oktoberfest.
This year’s celebration was hosted by Mr. Mitchell of Darcel XV Showplace. Additionally, the party featured exclusive Dogtoberfest beers, a pet Halloween costume contest, and local food vendors.
The event will also support the efforts of Dove Lewis Veterinary Hospital, which performs more than 700 blood transfusions each year.

“Dogtoberfest is a blood bank fundraiser and is funded entirely by community donations,” said Blood Bank Coordinator Kelsey Reinauer. “[Our blood bank] This provides blood products to animals in need in the Portland area. ”
