Google’s Pixel 9a is scheduled to be announced in May next year. Although the exact release date has not yet been revealed, various details regarding pricing, color options, and specifications have been revealed online.

According to reports, the Pixel 9a is expected to maintain the same price range as its predecessor, the Pixel 8a, and be priced at $499 for the 128GB storage model. The device is rumored to be powered by an upgraded 5,100mAh battery and powered by the latest Tensor G4 chipset, while offering similar levels of dust and water resistance as previous models.
Additionally, it may include a dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor.
According to a report from Android Headlines, the Pixel 9a will be available in Iris, Porcelain, and Obsidian colors, mirroring the options offered on the Pixel 9.
The device is expected to feature a 6.285-inch Actua display that boasts 2,700 nits peak brightness and 1,800 nits HDR brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is likely to run on Google Tensor G4 processor complemented by Titan M2. It features a security chip, 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 128GB or 256GB storage options with UFS 3.1 technology.
The Pixel 9a is expected to have a dual camera system on the back, including a 48-megapixel GN8 quad dual-pixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX712 sensor with f/1.7 aperture .
