A witness who spoke to Eyewitness News said all was revealed during the Waterworld performance. He said a performer was in one of the towers and fell into the water as part of the act.
A witness told ABC7 that other workers noticed him missing and went into the water to retrieve him.
In a video obtained by Eyewitness News, several people are seen pulling the performers into the backstage area.
Witnesses said the show was abruptly canceled and guests were escorted.
