In “The Substance,” Demi plays Elizabeth Sparkle, a leading aging television fitness guru. After she is fired, Sparkle decides to try a mysterious new drug that will allow her to be reborn as a hot Sue (Margaret Quarry). But there is a catch – the effect is temporary and she has to divide the time into two versions of herself.
Moore shared why he believes the film resonated with people, saying, “I think it’s a comparison and forgetfulness that we all experienced, and that’s not just outside of us. It’s not just a harsh, self-critical judgment. And everyone in the public eye is a little more judgement and faces external criticism.

Demi revealed her tough past fitness regimens, about her past fitness regimens, and how she is doing things differently now.
“I tortured myself. Something crazy about riding a bike all the way from Malibu to Paramount. This is about 26 miles, because everything put a great value on what I see outside,” the star said. “The biggest difference today is that it’s so much about my overall health and longevity and quality of life. I think I’ve evolved to a better personality towards myself. I was very strict and had a much more hostile relationship with my body.
She continued, “Now I have a much more intuitive and relaxed relationship with my body. When I tell me that I’m thirsty, I believe it is listening to my body.
How does she take care of herself? The three of us said, “I really like anchoring with short meditation, journaling. Overall I like nutritious foods. I don’t eat meat. I eat eggs. But most of the wellness is really on the flip side.

Moore recently spoke about her self-image, saying, “I have a great gratitude for all my body has ever come to me. It doesn’t mean that I don’t look in the mirror and say, ‘Oh, God, I’m old’ or ‘Oh, my face is falling’.
She is thinking about turning gray. “Yeah, 100%. I’m looking at women who have long greys, especially I think I’ll do that. My hair looks muddy.
Regarding returning to Pixie Cut, she said, “I don’t know. There’s energy in my hair, do you know? But I never want to say it.”
Moore also mentioned her previous marriage to Bruce Willis and her gratitude. “Whatever the external relationships, we have maintained that we are family in many ways. We have not shaken our children’s priorities.”
“Extra” is a comment she made during an acceptance speech about the producer who spoke to Demi after the Golden Globes won and called her a “popcorn actress” 30 years ago.
