“Extra” chatted with “The Mandalorian & Grog” Star Pedro Pascal at Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025.
“It was incredible to stand next to Sigourney,” he said. “She’s an icon to me. She’s one of the biggest movie stars of my life. She’s the perfect example of an actor who has stepped into all kinds of genres.
Pascal joked that they shared the stage with Weaver and “Star Wars” filmmakers John Favreau, Dave Filoni and Kathleen Kennedy.
Pedro continues to bully what he expects from the film, saying, “I think “The Mandalorian & Grog” will be one of the best adventure films in all Canon in the film.” I think John Favreau is a genius. It would offer one of the best adventures we’ve seen, I’d say, the first “Star Wars” film was featured in the world. ”
“Extra” also caught up with Weaver, Favreau and Filoni to talk about the film.
Sigourney, who plays Colonel Bishop, said, “It was terribly exciting. He’s truly the most exquisite combination of various things that will make you fall in love – his voice, his ears, his eyes, his small suit.
She continued. “I think he’s the perfect apprentice to Din Julin and I tried to really control myself in the scene to not throw myself at him or be my personality and professional, but I don’t know if I’ve succeeded or not.”
John, who directs The Mandalorian & Grog, dedicated the plate to open up the world for IMAX and ensuring the depth and complexity of visual effects on big screen viewing. Additionally, Favreau raved about Sigourney and why she was perfect for her role. Check out his interview below!
