Colin Rabecchi is working hard to get Voss back towards the business end of the race after finally returning to the peloton stretched out.
It will take considerable team effort to bring Vos back to a strong position.
As well as his sister Zoe, who raced today, his father and former Paris-Roubaix winner Magnus is also heavily involved as Canyon SRAM’s DS.
Vos is over 40 seconds out of the peloton and still has no teammates to help her. She should be able to get it back, but it would waste a lot of energy.

Marianne Voss was forced to drive back after suffering some mechanical problems. This is just unfortunate for the former Paris-Roubaix runner-up as she suffered punctures in two cobbled sectors.
Danik Hengeveld just walked away from the break after going up front and pulling.
The second sector of the day, from Warlaing to Brillon, enters the 3-star 2.4 km section.
Marthe Truyevn is now leading the break at Pavé, showing off her cyclocross experience on tough terrain.

The lead widened to more than four minutes as they approached the first set of cobblestones, 82.5km from the finish line at Roubaix.
Jumbo-Visma’s leader that day was Marianne Voss, who was delighted to be back at the Paris-Roubaix Femmes after being forced to miss the 2022 edition due to testing positive for COVID-19.
“I was happy to participate in my first competition and I’m happy to be back on the starting line. Of course it’s a great race and it’s great to be a part of it,” said the Dutch woman.
“It’s a tough day and it’s going to be tough, but Paris-Roubaix is special. I’ll do my best today and try to have a good race with the team. Hopefully, I’ll be there.” . “

All but six teams, except Jumbo-Visma, Movistar, Lifeplus Wahoo, Israel Premier Tech Roland and Stade Rochelet-Charente Maritime, are at the forefront.

15km into the race and several teams attacking, we are still out of luck as the teams are cohesive, albeit protracted.
It was a special day for young British star Zoe Backsteadt as she rode for the first time the Paris-Ruabix, a race won by her father Magnus in 2004.
“I’m very excited about it, we have history [the Backstedt family] In this race, I just crossed the cobblestones the other day doing some scouting and I was so happy and excited to ride them in the first place, so I’m super excited to go out there today and see what the race has to offer.” she said..
“It’s going to be very tough. Considering it’s been raining the last few days, I think the cobblestones are still slippery, so I don’t know how it will be. It’s unpredictable, but it’s fun.”

Mylène de Zone (CERATIZIT-WNT Pro Cycling) and Maud Rijnbeek (AG-Insurance-Soudal Quick-Step) had two non-starters.

Now that the race has officially started, it’s time for the battle to begin.
Considering the last two only editions of the Paris-Roubaix Femmes have won solo attacks, all teams are eager to at least make it to the front.
This year the route has been extended from 124.7km to 145.5km, adding another 20km in and around Doonang before the first cobbled sector from Ho Nine to Wandini arriving after 62km of racing.
Defending champion Elisa Longo Borghini is poised to try and defend her crown, but hopes are high that Lotte Copecky will go on to win here after doubling her win at the Tour of Flanders last week. It’s not the first favorite of the day.
“I’m thrilled to wear number one and it’s been pretty special to me to be back here after winning last year.
“I think it’s going to be an aggressive race and we have to be ready for chaos.”
Of the Dutch team that has dominated the Classics, she said:
“If they are stronger, we respect their work and appreciate their strength and chatter, but we know the race isn’t over until the line.”
The riders cut their way from an unofficial start, with just over 4km of incapacitated riding before the official start where chaos continues.
This is the race route, with 17 cobbled sectors, including the five-star Mons en Pévert and Carrefour de l’Arbre. It will be one of his toughest races for the women’s pro peloton.
For Audrey Cordon-Ragot, starting the first race for his new team, Human Powered Health, was an emotional start to the day.
“I’m relieved, but I’m very tired and mentally cracked a little bit. When I’m given a start, I’m a different person and I can focus, so I let it go today.” Being at the start is the victory today.
“I’m going to enjoy every sector and stay on my bike to get to the velodrome in the best way in the best place.”
She was confirmed on the start list a few days ago after she resigned from the Zaaf Cycling Team over allegations that the team was not paying riders.
With less than 40 minutes to go before the official start at Donnan, the riders are now being announced at the team presentation.
