The goodwill that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis had with people who don’t have strong feelings toward Donald Trump one way or the other is a sign that the person who is supposed to be professional and fair in an Atlanta courtroom was marred by Willis’ absurd and embarrassing behavior, unprofessional and childish behavior. A mean prosecutor.
She wore a cloak of righteous indignation, refusing to admit that she had made the wrong decision in her affair with the special prosecutor. Rather than admit that she was caught with her hand in the cookie jar, she chose to fight a legal battle with a lawyer who was only defending her client according to constitutional provisions.
Although she claimed otherwise, Willis entered the courtroom visibly upset, giving the impression that he was watching the testimony of his mistress and “special prosecutor” Nathan Wade. She was clearly angry when he suddenly abandoned her objection to her testimony.
Willis was useless in the court of public opinion as he gave unresponsive answers to simple questions from his defense attorney. Mr. Willis repeatedly had the judge admonish him to tone down his repeated verbal abuse on the witness stand, but the judge did him no good.

There’s a lot to be embarrassed about for Willis. Former employees have testified that Willis’ affair with Wade began long before she took office, suggesting Willis lied in court. She traveled to Belize with Wade, but she didn’t know which continent it was on. She withdrew a large amount of money from her first campaign and kept some of that cash, she testified (whatever that means, but that’s a bad way to say it). Willis said she did not know she was required to disclose gifts or personal relationships with people who do business with the county. And the list goes on.
But the biggest embarrassment for Fani Willis is the cash. The big issue the defense needed to prove was that Willis was personally wealthy, thanks to Wade paying for luxury trips such as Caribbean cruises and trips to Napa’s wine country.
Judge intervenes as Georgia gives combative testimony about relationship with Trump prosecutors
And here lies the great shame. Willis and Wade, in unison, testified that Willis had paid his girlfriend back in cash. Untraceable, undocumented cold cash.
Fani Willis is either a terrible witness or a great witness, depending on how you look at things. However, she is still likely to win on this issue. why? She paid Wade back in cash because the judge might stick with her claim.
But Willis and Wade aren’t out of the woods yet. Whether either or both lied in court about when the affair began, and the numerous extrajudicial public comments allegedly made to deny the defendants a fair trial, as well as other prosecutors’ questions. The question still remains as to whether there was any illegal activity.

It’s too early to know whether the Fulton RICO case will collapse under the weight of the numerous ethics claims raised by the remaining defendants, but one thing is certain: prosecutors will continue to mount a defense for the foreseeable future. is.
Prosecutor Willis is facing tough questions from the Fulton committee about whether he will spend the allocated funds as he claims. And let’s not forget that both the Georgia Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives are investigating whether she misused tax dollars or grant money to pursue politically motivated prosecutions.
And finally, if the allegations that Willis or Wade lied to the court about the nature and origins of the incident are true, the court can take disciplinary action, as can the Georgia Bar. A Georgia lawyer could be disbarred for lying in court.
