When we think of “Daring to Disrupt” we immediately go to breaking down barriers. I broke something big for myself this year. And it wasn’t about breaking records or landing tricks. I gave myself a break. It should be intuitive, but for high-achieving women, taking care of themselves is as daring and disruptive as it gets. Prioritizing my mental and physical health has been very beneficial to me. Honestly, I wish I had known sooner. After buying my first home, I am finally able to spend some quality time with my friends and family, giving myself the chance to heal this body and love snowboarding again.
