Local communities are united in providing unwavering support to a girl recently diagnosed with leukemia and her family.

On Sunday afternoon, the shopping districts along Meridian and Southwest streets provided a heartwarming backdrop for Team Delilah to shine in the spotlight and show their unity.
The event attracted over 100 people, all eager to participate in the raffle for family support.
In a collaborative effort, local businesses donated prizes and nearly $3,000 was raised. All proceeds will be donated directly to help Delilah, who is already undergoing chemotherapy. Her parents thanked the community for their support.
“I went to the hospital with an earache and it turned out to be a terrible situation, so it’s a big turn out,” said Delilah’s father, Jimmy Thomas.
My parents thought I would see a regular doctor, but they got some shocking news.
“Nobody could have imagined that these big, brawny people in these cool cars would show up and show up with such big hearts. It’s just amazing. “We weren’t asking anyone for anything. They just reached out, ‘Tell us,'” Thomas said.
Delilah’s parents have revealed that more than 85% of her bone marrow is now affected, but have not clarified whether this is a result of the cancer itself or the treatments she is undergoing. Ta.
