Noah Wyle is hospitalized again for “The Pit”… 30 years after “ER”!
“Extra’s” Melvin Robert stopped by the set to chat with Wiley and learn more about his character, who works at a Pittsburgh trauma hospital.
The show is an original concept, with the entire season revolving around a chaotic day inside the “pit.” Noah said of playing Dr. Robinavich: He’s having a tough time and we’re trying to catch him on a bad day. ”
He said of his return to the ER: It feels both nostalgic and foreign at the same time. In many ways, it feels like we’ve come full circle. ”
The doctor is also suffering from post-COVID-19 PTSD.
“This was born with the intention of shining a little light on this community that so often so gratefully picks up our broken pieces,” Noah said.
Weil also attended a medical boot camp for the role, saying: They weren’t the class clowns, they were the brightest kids in the class. ”
“The Pit” will premiere on January 9th on Max.
