The terrorist organization Hamas released 20 hostages, but not a single American was released on the first day of the ceasefire with Israel.
In addition to the 13 Israelis, 10 Thais and one Filipino were released into the custody of Red Cross personnel on Friday, who were seen transporting the rescued people from Gaza to Egypt in ambulances.
The Israeli hostages were transferred to Israel for treatment at various hospitals and are currently accompanied by Israeli Defense Force special forces.
A U.S. official told Fox News’ Lucas Tomlinson that the United States is “pleased to move forward with this process.”
“We are doing everything we can, including securing the release of the American nationals,” a U.S. official said. “We’re focused on that hour by hour.”

The United States has yet to see the release of its nationals currently held by Hamas, despite playing a key role in negotiating a ceasefire that allowed for the exchange of hostages.
According to US intelligence, about 10 Americans are being held hostage by a terrorist group.

Israeli leaders have vowed to resume the war if the ceasefire is lifted.
“Israel will continue its war against Hamas. We will not stop until we achieve our two main goals: overthrow Hamas’ control and return all abductees to us safe and sound,” Eli said.・Foreign Minister Cohen said this on Friday during a tour of the country.
