Richard Mole, who played bailiff Bull Shannon in Night Court, has died at the age of 80.
Mohr died Thursday at his home in Big Bear Lake, California. THR I will report.
Shannon appeared on Night Court from 1984 to 1992, and was one of only three actors to appear in every episode of the series, along with Harry Anderson and John Larroquette.
Moll was born on January 13, 1943 in Pasadena, California, and made his film debut in 1977’s Brigham. Other films include “Hard Country” (1981), “Caveman” (1981), “American Pop” (1981), “Liar’s Moon” (1982), and “The Sword and the Sorcerer” (1982). ) and “Metal Storm: The Destruction.” Jared Singh’s (1983), Dungeon Master (1984), House (1986), Wicked Stepmother (1989), The Flintstones (1994), Jingle All the Way (1996), But I’m a Cheerleader (1999), Scary Movie 2 (2001), and Sleigh Bells (2018).
Moll was nominated for a Saturn Award for his role in “House,” in which he played a rapidly deteriorating military veteran.

10 years ago, TMZ I talked with Richard about the possibility of a “Night Court” reunion. He commented, “I would run in the opposite direction.”
When asked why he felt that way, Richard replied: “I love show business. It’s them I can’t stand.”
The series has since been rebooted by NBC in 2023 with a mostly new cast, leaving only Larroquette.

Of the original Night Court cast, principal cast members Harry Anderson (1952-2018), Marky Post (1950-2021), and Charles Robinson (1945-2021) recently passed away, leaving the season 1 main cast member Paula Kelly also passed away (1942 to 2020). Thelma Diamond (1920–1985) and Florence Harrop (1923–1986), who replaced Diamond on the show, died during the production of the series. Larroquette and Marcia Warfield remain the only main cast members to have appeared in multiple seasons, along with one-season cast members Karen Austin (season 1) and Ellen Foley (season 2).
